The Emirates Intelligent Camel Research Center is an institution established in Umm Al-Quwain in 2015. Its primary goal was to combat the various diseases that could affect camels. Thanks to dedicated efforts and advanced techniques, the center has been able to control around 90% of the diseases that posed a threat to camel health.

The center is equipped with a range of modern and advanced facilities, including a specialized comprehensive blood testing laboratory, a treatment and embryo transfer equipped hall, as well as a dedicated camel research laboratory. The laboratory equipment used in the center exceeds a value of 15 million dirhams. To ensure continuous care for camels, the center is equipped with stables that can accommodate around 5,000 camels. It also has 950 nurseries for camel mothers.

Since its inception, the center has witnessed the transfer of over 750 embryo cases. It has dealt with 1,600 insemination cases and examined 4,000 cases in the laboratory. Additionally, it has provided 250 vaccines for camels, particularly to combat complex diseases such as uterine inflammation, infertility, and ovarian inactivity.

A comprehensive study was conducted by veterinary experts over a period of three months. The study aimed to identify common diseases and develop effective strategies for their elimination to ensure quality and accuracy in services. The center is known for offering precise laboratory tests using the latest veterinary equipment that meets international standards. These tests are conducted under the supervision of a team of licensed veterinary doctors from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, along with experienced laboratory analysts.

As part of expanding its service scope, the center provides comprehensive blood tests and artificial insemination services. It also has advanced equipment for treating infertility in horses and cows, with the possibility of embryo transfer.
