Camels are either a raid or a trade
“Al’iibil iimaa gharat wa’iilaa tijara” is a saying used to emphasize that camels are typically obtained through one of these two means: either by raiding and capturing them, which allows someone to acquire camels quickly, or through trade, which enables the owner to build up their camel herd over time through commerce. This saying highlights the different methods of acquiring camels in the traditional Bedouin context.
