Noura bint Abdullah Al-Muhaidib
Mrs. Noura bint Abdullah Al-Muhaidib is the first place winner in Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman’s run in the seventh edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, which is held under the slogan “Tuwaiq Himma”. Mrs. Al Muhaidib’s victory coincided with performances and events presented by women on horseback and camels, during which they showcased some folk arts. The performances witnessed the launch of horseback horses announcing the start of the women’s race, followed by a herd of camels and horses with a group of women in a look that simulates the past through a hodge carrying a woman on the back of a camel, where the hodge is a symbol of the Bedouin life of the Arabs, and narrates some of the details of the daily life of the inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula in past eras, as well as the history of camels in transporting women.
