I have nothing to do with this
“La naqat li fih wala jamal” comes from the story of Al-Harith ibn Abbad, who refused to participate in the Basus War between the Taghlib and Rabia tribes. The cause of the war was that a man from the Rabia tribe killed a camel belonging to the Basus. In retaliation, a man from the Taghlib intended to kill a camel from the Rabia tribe. However, he ended up killing a camel from his own tribe, which ignited a war between the two clans. This expression is used to indicate that someone has no stake or interest in a matter or when disassociating from wrongdoing and harm.
