Camel urine to treat skin diseases
Camel urine can be used in the treatment of some skin diseases and wounds that appear on the body. Dr. Ahlam Al Awadhi, from Saudi Arabia, has devised a treatment for some skin conditions and wounds using camel urine. The idea of the invention involves the preparation of urine in various pharmaceutical forms, including Alf Wazzani, which has shown success in the treatment of skin diseases.
According to Dr. Al-Awadhi, Associate Professor of Microbiology at the College of Education for Girls in the Scientific Departments in Jeddah, camel urine has been successfully used to treat a variety of health problems, including ringworm, boils and wounds that appear on the human body and hair, whether these wounds are present in the head or face, as well as dry and wet sores that secrete pus.
Camel urine, according to Dr. Al Awadhi, contains a variety of medicinal therapeutic ingredients that work like antibiotics, where bacteria are present as well as salinity and urea. It should be noted that the camel body is characterized by an advanced immune system with a superior ability to fight fungi, bacteria and viruses, thanks to the presence of antibodies (IgG) in camel urine. Such unique properties in camel urine enhance its effectiveness as a natural remedy for a variety of health problems and indicate the potential for its use in medicine and health science.
