Camel Racetrack in Sharm El Sheikh
The Camel Racetrack in Sharm El-Sheikh is a camel racing track located in the Arab Republic of Egypt, situated in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai. The construction of this camel racetrack had a total cost of 125 million Egyptian pounds, with the Egyptian government contributing only 25 million, while the rest came from private contributions and efforts.
The racetrack covers an area of approximately 1500 acres, stretching over a distance of up to 6 kilometers. It is equipped to host all types of camel races and features spectator facilities that can accommodate around 500 viewers. The track is also equipped with an electric elevator to facilitate access for the elderly and individuals with special needs. Additionally, it offers parking space for about 200 vehicles, along with ambulance services. There is an area designated for heritage exhibitions and exhibitions.
The racetrack includes an entertainment theater equipped to showcase artistic performances for the public.
